Welcome to Mae Ellen Designs! My name is Amy and I'm a Sarasota-based artist specializing in original art and gifts. My site is named after my sweet Grandma Mae who always encouraged me to create. Her advice to "just try" when curiosity strikes has molded me into a seamstress, painter, and creative thinker.

Handmade, Original Gifts
I sell handmade, original art and gifts that are unique and fun. Mae Ellen Designs studio is based in Sarasota, Florida. I work with a wide range of mediums including polymer clay, canvas, wood, fabric, yarn, beads, wire, alcohol ink, paper, and glass. I also enjoy upcycling projects to repurpose items that otherwise would go to the landfill.
